How might data be collected for this target response?Identify several interventions that might help improve response rates. Place them in order with the least-restrictive at the top so that the interventions may be introduced systematically, adding more restrictive / less favorable interventions after the outcomes of less restrictive options have been measured.
Create self-monitoring tool for staff assessing having the binders, and data collection.

1) Have a board with weekly feedback, staff "shout-outs for data collection.
2) Discuss issues with staff collectively and 1:1 for those not collecting data and the importance.
3) Consequences: from verbal, to write-up to dismissal if it persists.

Informal observation, self monitoring

Informal supervision observation

Collect frequency and cumulative data for residents with data documented by staff each day

Reduce task effort by placing binder somewhere else if applicable
Provide visual cues to complete, highlight importance
Post graphic feedback of group staff data, highlight high performer
Increased supervisor presence

Observe times, continue to check data sheets

Spend more time observing sessions, give reminders, post reminders around the program, provide reinforcement for completing tasks

self monitor, checklists

retraining
clarifying expectations
increased supervision
modeling
punishment to staff for not following measures

daily monitoring by supervisor

reduce task aversiveness
reduce task effort
increased supervisor presence

Survey/observation

Checklist is least restrictive then Feedback then more supervision

Checklist of data collection; self-monitoring

Increase supervisor presence; reduce task effort; regularly highlight task outcomes.

Data collection sheet
Observation data for IOA

Memo to sign to acknowledge need for data
Performance feedback to ensure staff know what to collect and have the skills to do it properly
Discussion about consequence of not collecting required data

checklist on data collected both self checklist by staff and supervisor

1. Ask Staff to report data collection via checklist
2. Increase Supervision
3. Reward the highest data collector

observation of staff

prompting- least to most; group contingencies for staff

Data could be collected through frequent observation by the BCBA on the frequency of staff conversations and of client data collection.

Increased supervision
Self-monitoring checklist
Graphic feedback of group performance
Verbal feedback- individualized

Self monitoring, or group monitoring for data collection

Increased supervisor presence, Regularly highlight task outcomes through a leader board or MVP type recognition,
Reduce task effort (i.e. assess data sheets, or keep them organized differently) to reduce response cost.

checklist indicating data were collected

self-monitoring
graphic display of staffs performance on data collection
individual feedback to staff regarding data collection

self monitoring

alerts from BA to staff to take data at the start of their shift and before ending their shift

-Incentives for consistent data collection
-BST training for program implementation and data collection
-Performance plan for continued failure to collect data

Direct observation data

Self report on data being collected for the day by staff
Supervisor daily observations with in the moment positive feedback when data are collected.
Supervisor daily observations with in the moment corrective feedback when data aren’t collected.

Observations, self-monitoring

1. Increase supervision. 2. Reduce task effort. 3. Deliver specific performance feedback to individual employees 4. Post graphic feedback of a group of employees

Feedback and rehearsal

Weekly goal of a set number of days that data is collected

Task clarification
Prompting
Performance feedback
Reduce task effort
Increased supervisor presence

BCBA can check weekly for instances of data not recorded

1. Staff can self monitor
2. Teacher can check by end of day and announce anyone who neglected data.
