Ethical shortcomings of other BCBAs. Specifically, as a school based BCBA I frequently encounter problems with home based for profit ABA providers.
For example, homebase provider asked parent to advocate for them to go into the classroom to consult when there is no particle need to do so. apparently this is so that they can bill for services during the daytime.
Another example, for profit ABA agency recommends that the parents keep the student out of school three days out of five in order to attend their clinic, despite ABA services being part of the package that is provided at school.
