| The adult should go through some scenarios to see how she will respond. She can take some classes on cooking and parents could get her invovled in some clubs with her high interest o promote friendships and independence.

If there are possibilities of danger, direct instruction must be utilized to ensure the client is prepared for this transition. Opportunities for social skills training as well as a cooperative learning enviornment can be implemented to help with forming friendships in the new enviornment.
