| I would visit the group home to conduct an ecological assessment prior to the woman being sent and would recommend a gradual transition to the group home. Speaking to the home staff about the parents' concerns regarding the transition would be helpful. Social skills training could be of benefit to help the woman understand social cues for engagement. Role playing may help her to transition more smoothly into her new environment.
