Performance Diagnostic Checklist: Demonstrations and Applications
$40.00
This course counts as 4 Supervision-type BACB CEUs.
The Performance Diagnostic Checklist (PDC; Austin, 2000) is a quick and simple assessment tool for identifying interventions that address staff performance problems. It sorts out contextual barriers and variables related to response deficits to determine whether the issue is a “can’t do” or a “won’t do” problem. Its most-researched variation, the Performance Diagnostic Assessment-Human Services (PDC-HS; Carr, 2013), is currently experiencing a surge in research demonstrations across many clinical applications, such as natural environment teaching (NET), and problems, such as fidelity of implementation.
This course reviews published research on the PDC assessment tool and its variations, with a close focus on the PDC-HS. Behavior analysts taking this course can expect to have a solid understanding of how the PDC and its variants are used and the downloadable materials to begin using it in their practice of supervision and client programs.
This course contains many downloadable resources and references.
