This course counts as 3 Ethics-type CEUs toward recertification with the BACB, QABA, or IBAO.

Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) is a treatment approach that can be seamlessly integrated into ABA practice. This approach prioritizes physical and psychological safety, meaningful relationships, and long-term outcomes. Following a brief overview of TIC, the course examines Rajaraman et al. (2022), a pioneering article regarding TIC published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis. The authors outline four commitments of a trauma-informed ABA practice. These commitments are explored further through practical applications and research citations, enabling clinicians to effectively incorporate them into their services. Downloadable references and resources are also included.
