The client should receive some social training to prepare her for interacting with house mates. She should also receive training on Safety in the home.

The parents and behavior analyst could request a tour of the facility to see what amenities are offered at the group home and what skills the adult would have to learn. Additionally, get an idea of who the other housemates are and their level of social skills are. Then, a transition plan could be put in place to teach the adult the skills she needs to be successful independently and have appropriate relationships and conversations with her housemates.
