Treatment of Automatically Reinforced SIB

Recent JABA research has made gains with regard to assessment and treatment of automatically-reinforced SIB.  Definitive answers are now available on how to approach treatment decisions and ensure the least restrictive intervention possible.  It is an optimistic outlook as well, with recent research concluding that treatment of automatically-reinforced SIB has become less restrictive and more effective.

Target audience: Board Certified Behavior Analysts  and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts who work or anticipate working with individuals who engage in self-injury
