Levels of Disruption are a Function of Accuracy

What Reliability Ultimately Indicates

The measure of reliable point distribution is ultimately the degree to which the game will lower disruptive behaviors. Playing the GBG will lower classroom disruptions. Playing the GBG with reliable point distribution will lead to the lowest levels of disruption. After comparing the reliability and behavior rates of experimenter-implemented and teacher-implemented GBG sessions, Silva and Wiskow (2020) conclude that the more consistently the implementer responded to disruptions, the more effective the intervention was at lowering rates of disruption.
