This is a new course that was inspired by user feedback on the CEUey HIPAA and FERPA courses. The feedback was simple – cut through it and tell me what I need to know. This course includes the need-to-know rules for document disclosure and protection when working in the United States healthcare and educational systems. Applications emphasize important intersections with these laws and the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts (“the Code”). The course is designed for both new behavior analysts as well as those in need of a refresher.
Target audience: BCBAs and BCaBAs who work with clients within the U.S. healthcare and educational systems
This course is 4 Ethics-type CEUs and is designed to take 3 hours and 20 minutes.
