Practice with Confidence: Applications of an Ethical Decision-Making Process

Certified professionals all share a common fear – losing their certification. The BACB’s Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts contains many codes and practicing behavior analysts are required to correctly interpret and follow all of them. This course takes a close look at the ethical decision-making process described in Rosenberg and Schwartz (2019). Many opportunities to apply the guidance and process from the article are embedded throughout the course. The course also includes a data sheet and course reading packet for future reference.

Course Pacing: This course is 3 CEUs and should take 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete (50 minutes/CEU, per the BACB). A course timer is provided at the end of the course. The timer is an imperfect guide and it is recommended that users informally log their time. User verification of time spent, and additional reading, are provided in the course survey presented prior to the final quiz.
