Review of Common Violations

From the BACB’s ethics page, the BACB provides their most current report of ethics violations.  At the time of this course was published (Spring 2020) the most recent report was on 2016-2017 and reported the following (BACB, 2018):

•  Of the 219 reports cases, the BACB was the most common reporter (69 cases), followed by the client (49 cases) and employer/supervisor (44 cases)
• The most common violation categories were improper or inadequate supervision or delegation, failure to report or respond to the BACB as required, and professionalism and integrity.
