Crisis Behavior Applications at School
This course counts as 4 ethics BACB CEUs.
This course explores the current use of restraint and seclusion and considerations for behavior analysts. Use of restraint and seclusion in schools is especially pertinent as new state laws are going into effect and federal regulations are bring considered. This training is recommended for anyone who works with school-aged children or clients who engage in behavioral escalations. Information, tools, and resources for responding to crisis behavior are included in the course.
This course was designed to complement the Clinical Considerations for Crisis Behavior course. The information on legal initiatives and government guidance is presented in both, however this course provides a more complete application of best practice and policy pertaining to schools.
